The HTML5 WebGL API is an in development standard specification defining a JavaScript API for writing web applications utilizing hardware accelerated 3D graphics.
WebGL will bring true hardware accelerated 3D graphics to the browser. This will allow web applications to create video games that rival those of dedicated systems.
